President Thaçi: The fate of all the missing persons to be clarified as soon as possible

Hashim Thaçi, Kosovo, Missing persons

The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi has received the representatives of the families of the missing Kosovo Serbs, with whom he discussed about the problem of the missing persons in general and about the opportunities to clarify the fate of all the missing persons as soon as possible.

President Thaçi said that the issue of the missing persons is a humanitarian issue and must be clarified as soon as possible.

“The fate of all the missing persons, regardless of their ethnicity, must be clarified as soon as possible. This is also a prerequisite for justice and sincere reconciliation between the people”, said President Thaçi.

The representatives of the families agreed with President Thaçi, for this to become one of the main topics in the dialogue in Brussels.

“This issue must be opened in Brussels as well, in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, that all instances, all institutions, must work in order to solve and to close this pain and this suffering as soon as possible”, concluded President Thaçi.
