Semka Agic

Semka Agic lives in Zivinice, near Tuzla. On May 8, 1992, she went to Bosanski Samac to look for her son. She found a deserted town, from which the whole of Bosniak and Croatian population had been expelled. Her nineteen-year old son had spent two months in the forced labor camp, and was then killed. When she buried him, on the way home, Semka was captured and raped. Her agony in captivity lasted several years. Semka Agic testified at the Sixth Regional Forum for Transitional Justice held in Novi Sad, on March 20-21, 2010.

The transcript and video of this testimony is available in Bosnian language.
