They are constitutive of collective memories situated largely within na-tional-frameworks and characterised by diverging accounts of the past, contested symbols and representations in the public sphere.<\/p>\n<p>Against this backdrop, the panel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recom.link\/en\/debate-on-the-politics-of-memory-and-remembrance-practices-in-southeast-europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Politics of Memory and Remembrance Practices<\/a> discussed the dynamics and patterns of memory politics and remembrance practices in Southeast Europe, but more specifically, was focused on post-Yugoslav states.<\/p>\n<p>The panelists: Ana Milo\u0161evi\u0107, Vjeran Pavlakovi\u010d, Naum Trajanovski, and Venera \u00c7o\u00e7aj.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.recom.link\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/HLC-brochure-ENG-The-Politics-of-Memory-and-Remembrance-Practices.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transcript<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Over the past two decades, a diversity of bottom-up and top-down memo-ry politics and remembrance practices have evolved in Southeast-Europe&#8230;.
