In result \u2013 the sufferings of the victims and their<br \/>\nrights remain unrecognized and the fates of the missing persons remain unknown.<br \/>\nThis lack of clarity about the facts signifies lack of respect for the victims and<br \/>\nprevents the post-Yugoslav societies from coming to terms with their past and<br \/>\nbuilding a culture of solidarity.
